about

This song was recorded during at trip to 'the jungle' during the second week of Ramadan. After fasting and praying during daylight hours, the night was spent replenishing with food, drink and socialising. We were sitting in a makeshift kitchen hut chatting whilst preparing food and singing. At about 2 am an older man came along and was welcomed with great respect, hugs and dancing. They said he is s very good singer. This is a very hypnotic love song that he sang for us.
I played it to a Sudanese friend and asked the meaning of the song and this is what he wrote 'Consists of the singer from describing the beauty of a woman may love her, and she wasn't and when she leaves him drive her that home become faia after'
Me: 'Faia, what is that?'
